Ashlee Latimer Picture.jpg

Knoxville native Ashlee Latimer left her Rocky Top roots for the Big Apple and has found great success along the way. A graduate of Bearden High School and the University of Tennessee, Ashlee found her passion for theatre in high school and served as the first intern for the Children’s theatre of Knoxville, as well as their first student director. After moving to New York in 2016, Ashlee became involved in the Underrepresented Producer Initiative, founded by producer Hunter Arnold, through which she won a Tony Award in 2018 as a co-producer of Once on This Island. The Underrepresented Producer Initiative provides commercial producing access and training for groups historically underrepresented in the Broadway community. In addition to her success with Once on This Island, Ashlee has also co-produced The Jungle on the West End and The Inheritance on Broadway. Currently, she oversees creative development for Tony and Olivier Award-winning producer Hunter Arnold’s company, TBD Theatricals.
